Private by Design
Register without a phone number to chat, call, videochat, share files & media privately with your friends & family without being exposed to other users
PRIVATE REGISTRATION
No SIM card required. Registration without a phone number & without sharing personal contacts. Your privacy messenger for private texting. Designed to protect from stalking, surveillance and account hacking.
NO UNSOLICITED CONTACTS
Share your Zangi Number only with those you trust. Other users can't find your profile if they don't know your exact Zangi number.
Chat, call, video chat, share files and media with your friends, family and colleagues safely, without being exposed to unknown users.
NO DATA COLLECTION
Your data is stored ONLY on your phone, making Zangi a safe and secure messenger for friends chat and family messenger use. Zangi does not collect, analyze, or store your personal messages on servers. Your conversations, files, and private chat history remain under your control.
END-TO-END ENCRYPTION
Zangi operates as a secure messenger that applies strong cryptographic standards to all communication layers.
Texts, media, files, voice & video calls are encrypted with End-to-End AES-GCM 256 algorithm, so every call, secret message, and chat session stays private and protected.
QUALITY WITHOUT COMPROMISE
Zangi works where other messenger apps struggle. Minimized dependency on the speed of your internet connection.
I appreciate the privacy of an app that has end-to-end encryption and stores your data only on your device, but Zangi takes that to extremes. If I want to use Zangi on my iPhone when I’m holding that but on my iPad or Mac when I’m in front of that, I can’t. Not only do past messages not appear when you sign in on a new device (which is 100% understandable and I expected), but you’re suddenly signed out on the first device, with an “invalid account” message popping up.By comparison, Signal wants to use your existing phone number, but at least allows you to receive/read/send messages on more than one device at a time. The app asks for access to your contacts so it can see who else you’re connected to, which seems shady, since you never use your actual phone number when registering, just a seemingly random Zangi “private number.” I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that there’s potential value, perhaps comparing the names of people in your contacts to the names of people who’ve registered, but I figure if you want someone to have your Zangi private number, you’ll give it to them.
