According to the Greenville Police Department in North Carolina, X-Games star and BMX pioneer Dave Mirra was found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was 41.

TMZ reported that the frontman of the legendary R&B group died in his Los Angeles home on Thursday morning in his sleep after suffering from a long battle with Parkinson's. Upon hearing the news, many took to Twitter to share their condolences, including the band itself.
